Portfolio picture 15.

Now this! Was another one of my favorites, i went out on a risk and took the camera into the water! I got lucky by catching the wave as it was crashing into more water so it looks really nice. :) This was at the beach in Cornado around 2pm. I like the way all of the blues in the picture go together, and the way the sun creates sort of a white strip on the right side, it creates sort of a balance from the way the wave on the left side is crashing which captures your eye, and the sun beam on the right captures your eye also. On this picture i used photo shop and i played with the brightness and contrast as usual, but i also played around with the shadows and hightlights too. I really liked how the picture turned out.

Portfolio picture 12.

I took this picture at Mission beach, it was around 4-5pm the sun was just about to set and my cousin had her camera, so i took a picture and this is how it came out. I really liked it because of the different colors, the way the sky looked and how the orange of the sun, mixed with the white, grey, and blue in the sky and the clouds. I photo shopped this picture, and changed the contrast because it was really bright at first. I also played with the highlights in the picture.

Portfolio picture 14.

This picture of Taeok, was sort of the different then what i usually do, but i told him to do different dance poses without stopping and this is what i ended up capturing. The background that i chose to use really makes him stand out and also the lighting. I brought one of the hot lights outside and shot infront of the grand theater which made the light really reflect on his skin more. I was back and fourth in the photoshopping i did on this picture.. and i didn't end up doing much because i kind of already liked the way the picture came out, i think it's a cool picture specially because of the background.

Portfolio picture 13.

The picture of the feather in the grass looked really interesting to me, it was morning time so the grass was still kind of wet.. if you open up the picture more you can see the details of the water drops on the grass and the feather, it looked really nice to me so i took a picture and i liked the way it came out. In photoshop i messed with the curves in this picture, and also the brightness and contrast, and it made the grass have a nice green color, and sort of made the white of the feather stick out more.

Portfolio pictures 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, &11.

These pictures are where my portfolio goes back to landscaping. The picture of the water fountain is my favorite. I like the way the colors came out after i photo shopped it, and perspective of the picture. The picture of the flower was really nice to me because i like how soft the colors came out. The picture of the tree had really nice lighting, i like the way the sun comes through the leaves and brightens up the orange of the leaves. The picture of the plant on the ground had really nice lighting, i like how it really draws your attention to the orange on the green plant, it really captures your eye. The second picture of the flower was nice because i like the way you can see the water drops on the flower. The last picture of the tree, is similar to the first one, but different because it doesn't have the sun in the back so the color of the leaves are different. I edited it in photoshop and changed the brightness/contrast, and it enhanced the little light this picture did have, and made it nice.

besides the fact that Taeok had a jacket on in this picture, the pose he has in the photo makes it really interesting so i decided to keep it. I like how is hands are and how theres a certain feel of passion in the way he was posing. Although his head and his feet are cut off, it kind of changes the balance of the picture.

Portfolio picture 4.

Now this picture, I think is my favorite.  I liked the way Taeok posed in this picture. It's different than any picture I've ever seen before actually. I edited the brighness and contrast, and also made it black and white.  I like where the shadows are in this picture. The pose in this picture makes the photo have sort of a story. To me it looks like he's hidng, but dancing at the same time. It's really weird, but i like it.
